Walk and Talk Counseling heals through nature and exercise.

When you experience change, like losing someone you love, you feel broken, unsteady, unsure, and restless. Nothing feels familiar or comfortable. Allow me to help you carry that heavy weight. Through walking, talking and absorbing the healing benefits of nature, you will be guided in this transition. Studies show that with as little as 20 minutes of outdoor walking, you can improve your mood. Physical activity, especially important during times of transition, eases pain and stress by increasing the release of the “feel good” neurotransmitters (like serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine, endorphins, etc.). Not to mention the mindfulness benefits of being in nature and increased vitamin D from a walk in the sunshine. You will be feeling better before you know it.
